On March 27, 2007, City National Corporation issued a press release announcing a definitive agreement to acquire Lydian Wealth Management, LLC, a subsidiary of Lydian Trust Company and a national leader in serving ultra-affluent individuals and family offices. The all-cash transaction is expected to close in the second quarter. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
