Regulation FD Disclosure

On September 1, 2011, Lam Research Corporation (the Company) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has authorized an increase of $500 million in the Company’s previously announced program to repurchase its common stock, to an aggregate authorization of $750 million. A copy of the press release issued by the Company is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
