On March 15, 2010, Jeffrey J. Rotsch, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Channel Development, announced his plans to retire effective August 1, 2010 after a distinguished 36-year career with General Mills.

Shawn O'Grady will replace Mr. Rotsch and has been promoted to Senior Vice President, President, Consumer Foods Sales Division effective May 1, 2010. Mr. O'Grady joined General Mills in 1990 and since 2004 has held senior leadership positions in Sales, most recently serving as Vice President, President, U.S. Retail Sales, reporting to Mr. Rotsch.
