Item 8.01. Other Events.
On November 12, 2007, CSS Industries, Inc. (“CSS”) issued a press release announcing that the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of CSS had authorized an additional buy back of 500,000 shares of CSS Common Stock at prices and pursuant to other terms and conditions that the officers of CSS deem appropriate. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
