ITEM 8.01  Other Events

On November 19, 2008, Southern Missouri Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company"), the parent corporation of Southern Missouri Bank and Trust Co., completed its program to repurchase approximately 5% of its outstanding common shares. Through this program, which was originally announced on October 22, 2008, the Company repurchased 110,000 shares at an average cost of $11.90 per share.
