Soccer players from Palestinian team uphold the goal of giving peace a chance on UN International Day of Sport for Development and Peace

By: PRLog
The Official Palestinian National Soccer team are aiming to score a goal for human rights as they launch a peace campaign with the message of Love All Love Wins and the promotion of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights
LOS ANGELES - April 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Project Peace On Earth (PPoE) in collaboration with the National Centre for Community Rehabilitation (NCCR) in Gaza is launching a campaign that pitches the message of peace via sport and music into a worldwide conversation that empowers more caring and compassionate human rights in the Middle East.

PPoE's Chief Executive Officer, Steve Robertson, first approached the NCCR to put together a choir of children to participate with a song in 2 Unite All benefit album featuring world famous musicians. The choir was formed and the song Haumea (We Are The Ones) was recorded and made into a music video. The music and its message soon entered the sporting arena when the NCCR approached the official National Palestinian Soccer team with the Love All Love Wins Universal Declaration of Human Rights idea. The soccer coaches and team immediately and whole-heartedly embraced the campaign and wanted to promote the message out to the world. They exchanged their usual training jerseys for UDHR/Love All Love Wins T-shirts and are helping to raise awareness on issues of human rights in their country through the 'beautiful game'.

UN International Day of Sport for Development and Peace takes play on 6th April. It was established in recognition of the positive influence that sport can have on human rights and social and economic development.

Project Peace on Earth is based in Los Angeles and its initiatives in the Palestinian Middle East started with the peace/medical mission in Hebron called "Visions of Peace" that delivered 40 free cataract surgeries for the elderly and blind. The organisation has also put on large music concerts in Bethlehem and a virtual concert of famed musicians supporting the message of "Forgive All."

2 Unite All is a major benefit album to support the medical relief in Gaza and the Middle East region and the implied realization of a 2 State solution. The 2 Unite All album, Executive Produced by Robertson and Produced by Ricky Kej (2015 Grammy winner of Best New Age album), is scheduled to release on April 19th, 2016. It features an original song written for the album called "Begin Again" by 2016 Grammy Winner Philip Lawrence of Bruno Mars. It also features Peter Gabriel, Roger Waters, Stewart Copeland and many others performing 30 tracks in two volumes.
