“How To Add 10 Patients This Week Without Spending A Dime Of Advertising.”

Sending out brochures, five seminars scheduled for this week, cold calling doctors office just hoping for a shot at proving your clinic worthy of referrals. Sound familiar?

 

Those have been the time-tested and “proven” methods to grow and scale a practice, right?

 

No doubt those have all worked and some continue to work today. But are they the BEST methods? As you may know, 2020 was the pressure test for every acquisition method we thought to have been the best. That created a rush to find new and proven ways to find new patients.

 

With that, came the birth of a new beast, the digital age of patient acquisition. Giving you, the doctor, the ability to find someone who has never even heard of you, and walks them into your door without ever leaving your practice, putting on a seminar, or begging for referrals.

 

Having the ability to calmly and creatively shift your acquisition model to utilize tools such as telehealth. Which gives you the ability to create a high volume on the front end while providing the safety patients are looking for. A great win-win for anyone in practice.

 

But how do you even get potential patients to get to that point? Easy, you have to create what I like to refer to as, An Irresistible Offer. I’m not talking about a 10% off coupon code, an irresistible offer that when someone looks at it they JUMP at the chance to take it. Something that even you kinda look at it like “ehhh this might be a little much to give”.

 

Free, high discount, or full price with added savings bonus. Pair that will a combination of in-clinic procedures and you are on your way to creating that Irresistible Offer. Something like a Free Body Scan, a $27 Discovery Visit, A Free Dry Needling Session with a new appointment booked..starting to see the pattern?

 

So with that offer, how do you use it? Great question! For this model, we want to take that offer and send it out to any previous patient in your database. Time to dust off that file of emails and phone numbers.

 

If you have the phone numbers, that’s the preferred method because text messages have a 98% open rate vs an email at just under 3% open rate. (ouch). But either way, they both work for this so don’t get discouraged if you only have emails!

 

So what does this campaign look like? You will send out a MASSIVE BLAST text/email that looks like this:

 

Hi , this is your favorite Physical Therapist, ! I’ve got a 9 {INSERT IRRESISTIBLE OFFER HERE} here on my desk – would you be interested in one?

 

Now the trick here is to run this for 5 days! Day five is the cutoff. This will give people fear of missing out sensation and also allow you the ability to do a quick follow-up to try and capitalize on the most amount of contacts.

 

By doing this, you are reactivating previous patients who already know, like, and trust you. WITHOUT ever spending a DIME of marketing or ads. You can probably see how powerful it is to keep a database of anyone who comes into your office or website. Wait, you are giving people a chance to opt-in on your website right?…
