This plug-and-use home theater connection provides flexibility in terms of placement. One only has to plug in a USB cable, HDMI cable, and, if required, IR and audio cables from the computer to the sender. Sewell Direct recommends using pure copper Cat6 cables for distances beyond 150 feet. This extender has an inbuilt HDMI splitter in the form of two HDMI outputs with the receiver. This splitter can mirror the image from a video source onto two screens. The IR extender boosts the remote control’s IR range, enabling users to manipulate the device receiving signals from the media device.
The Sewell 4K HDMI KVM Switch enables easy switching between two computers without the need for constantly re-plugging the mouse, keyboard, monitor, or other peripherals.
