Manchin-Schumer spending bill estimated to hurt coal workers the most

A deal reached last week by Sens. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., will reportedly bring a net tax hike of 7.2% to the coal industry’s pretax income.
