With the increase in frequency of mass shootings in the US comes a need for more survival training instructors. The A.L.I.V.E. Instructor Certification Course provides aspiring instructors with knowledge and tools that will allow them to teach survival skills to clients, which can include company businesses and schools.
Before the 2-day course starts, participants are expected to do preliminary studying. This involves reading A.L.I.V.E. founder Michael Julian’s book “10 Minutes to Live: Surviving an Active Shooter Using A.L.I.V.E,” which is included with enrollment, as well as reviewing the A.L.I.V.E. Online Training Course, which is the foundation for all A.L.I.V.E. instruction.
Participants will then get an in-depth breakdown of A.L.I.V.E., a full review and breakdown of the A.L.I.V.E. training presentation, professional speaking and presentation skills instruction, and marketing training to promote themselves as an instructor. Throughout the course, there are also video-recorded “teach back” assignments, which are evaluated by peers and instructors.
The end of the course includes a final exam and graduation. Participants who pass the exam will receive a Certificate of Completion of the A.L.I.V.E. Instructor Certification Course. They’re also added to the A.L.I.V.E. Affiliate Program where they earn a commission for every enrollee they refer to the company.
