Item 8.01.  Other Events.

In response to a news report, Aon Corporation (“Aon”) today confirmed that its UK Brokerage operation achieved positive organic growth in the second quarter of 2007.  The unit also had positive organic growth of 4% in the first quarter of 2006 and 1% in the fourth quarter of 2006.

Aon will provide further information when it reports second quarter earnings.
