Section 8 – Other Events

Item 8.01.
Other Events.

American Petro-Hunter Inc. (the “Company”) commenced drilling operations at the #24-1 Double H Oil Well site on the Rooney Prospect in Ford County, Kansas on November 12, 2009.  Preliminary drilling at the #24-1 Double H Oil Well site tested positive for oil.  Initial test results indicate that this well may be capable of producing in excess of 200 barrels of oil per day.  Additionally, following a review of the 3D seismic data in conjunction with the electronic logs, it is estimated that there may be a potential pool of about 500,000 barrels of oil associated to the #24-1 Double H Well site.  The Company will conduct further tests for commercial production and will announce the results of those tests as soon as they are available.  For additional information please refer to the press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

This current report contains certain "forward-looking statements" as defined by the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995 including, without limitation, expectations, beliefs, plans and objectives regarding American Petro-Hunter's potential reserves, future production, exploration potential, well construction, and the timetable for completion of further tests. Any matters that are not historical facts are forward-looking and, accordingly, involve estimates, assumptions and uncertainties. There is no assurance that American Petro-Hunter's expectations will be realized, and actual results may differ materially from those expressed in the forward-looking statements.
