Item 8.01 Other Events.

On January 1, 2011, the previously-announced merger of The Felton Bank, a Delaware bank subsidiary of Shore Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”), with an into CNB, a Maryland bank subsidiary of the Company, was consummated. CNB was the successor bank in the merger.
