(1)	MDCP IV Global Investments LP transferred its interests in Sirona Holdings Luxco S.C.A. ("Luxco") to MDCP Global Aggregator, L.P. ("MDCP Aggregator") on December 10, 2009, in order to simplify certain U.S. withholding tax certification requirements. As a result, MDCP Aggregator may be deemed to share voting and dispositive power of the shares of Common Stock of Sirona Dental Systems, Inc. that are held by Luxco. MDCP Aggregator disclaims beneficial ownership of such shares except to the extent of its pecuniary interest therein.
