Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On August 5, 2010, Corinthian Colleges, Inc. (the "Company") received a request for information from the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee (the "Committee") relating to its ongoing series of hearings on private sector education. The Company believes this request was extended to thirty private sector education companies, including all such publicly traded companies.

The request seeks information regarding how the Company recruits and enrolls students, sets program price or tuition, determines financial aid including private or institutional loans, tracks attendance, handles withdrawal of students and return of Title IV dollars and manages compliance with the 90/10 rule. The request also seeks information regarding the number of students who complete or graduate from the Company’s programs, how many of those students find work in their fields of study, the debt levels of students enrolling and completing programs and how the Company tracks and manages cohort default rates.

The Committee has also requested that the Company provide a broad range of information about its business, including detailed information relating to financial results, management, operations, personnel, recruiting, enrollment, graduation, student withdrawals, receipt of Title IV Program funds, accreditation, regulatory compliance and other matters.

The Committee has requested that the Company produce a portion of the specified information by August 26, 2010 and the remainder of the information by September 16, 2010. The Company intends to cooperate with the Committee’s request.
