  • Lynette Sherrill, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Security and Chief Information Security Officer: Sherrill is responsible for establishing the vision, defining the strategy, and implementing the Department’s enterprise-wide cybersecurity program.
  • Ret. Admiral Michael S. Rogers, Former Commander, U.S. Cyber Command, and Former Director, National Security Agency (NSA): Adm. Rogers retired from the U.S. Navy in 2018 after nearly 37 years of service and culminated his career with a four-year tour as commander of the U.S. Cyber Command and director of the National Security Agency.
  • Eric Goldstein, Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Executive Assistant Director for Cybersecurity (CSD): Goldstein leads CISA’s mission to protect and strengthen federal civilian agencies and the nation’s critical infrastructure against cyber threats.
  • Jennifer Tate, Central Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Digital Innovation, Office of Cyber Security: Tate is leading change management at an Agency-wide level, both through new tools and ways of looking at data, and new approaches to managing risk at a global scale.
  • Jaime Noble, Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs (DOJ OJP), Chief Information Security Officer: Noble provides leadership and direction for maintaining the security of OJP’s information systems.
  • Diane Carnohan, Virginia Department of Education (VA DOE), Chief Information Security Officer: In addition to service as CISO at VA DOE, Carnohan is also an appointed member of the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Cyber Security Planning Committee, and serves on the Virginia Student Data Privacy Consortium.
  • Gerry Caron, International Trade Administration, Chief Information Officer: In this role, Caron implements information technology services, solutions, and strategy for an agency of 2,200 employees across 100 U.S. cities and 80 international markets.
  • Darren Lacey, Johns Hopkins University, Chief Information Security Officer: Serving for the last 19 years, Lacey is responsible for protecting digital assets, data, and information systems, while navigating the regulatory landscape of the academic environment.
  • Chris Riordan, RavenTek, Chief Technology Officer: Riordan provides strategic guidance and oversight on the latest technologies for various large government IT initiatives and programs.
  • Michael Watson, Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA), Chief Information Security Officer for the Commonwealth of Virginia: With over 17 years of experience working in the information security field, Watson leads the Commonwealth Security and Risk Management team which provides security governance, oversight, and risk management for the executive, judicial, and legislative branches of government in Virginia.
