The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into BrightSpring Healthcare Services, Inc (“BrightSpring”) with respect to their recent data breach. On August 11, 2023, BrightSpring notified individuals that the company experienced a data breach after an unauthorized party accessed sensitive consumer data entrusted to the company. The breach was discovered on May 20, 2023. According to BrightSpring, they determined that information stored on their servers may have been subject to unauthorized access between March 12, 2023 and March 13, 2023. BrightSpring determined that the minimum information exposed in the data breach includes: name, address, date of birth, and Social Security number.
