Renewable Energy Developer SolarBank Corporation Graduates Public Listing to Cboe Canada

Cboe Canada Inc. (“Cboe Canada”) is excited to welcome solar energy developer SolarBank Corporation (“SolarBank”) as they graduate their public listing to Cboe Canada, a Tier 1 Canadian exchange. Providing turnkey solutions in the clean and renewable energy industry, SolarBank is now trading on Cboe Canada under the symbol SUNN.

“It has been less than a year since SolarBank initially completed its IPO and during this period the company has undergone substantial growth. Today’s migration of our listing to Cboe Canada is yet another significant milestone,” explained Dr. Richard Lu, President and CEO of SolarBank. “Cboe’s global exchange platform and increased investor reach were major considerations in our decision to uplist to Cboe Canada. There are big things ahead in 2024 and beyond as SolarBank continues to execute on its over 1 GWp pipeline of solar energy and battery storage projects.”

SolarBank leverages their expertise to provide solar energy solutions to commercial and industrial corporations, institutions, municipalities, and electric utility companies in both the U.S. and Canada, with over 100 solar power plants currently under management.

“For mainstream adoption of renewable energy to gain traction, we need companies like SolarBank with accessible, scalable solutions to streamline the clean energy generation process and break down barriers to entry,” remarked Cboe’s Global Head of Corporate Listings, Erik Sloane. “Cboe Canada is proud to be the listing venue of choice for innovative companies that are driven by purpose and shaping a better tomorrow. We look forward to supporting SolarBank with unmatched service and support, expanded investor awareness, and increased quality of trading.”
