Federman & Sherwood investigates Elmhurst Development LLC (“Elmhurst”) for data breach. On September 5, 2024, Elmhurst filed a notice of data breach with the Attorney General Offices of Maine and Vermont after discovering that confidential information was compromised in an apparent cyberattack. In this notice Elmhurst explains that the incident resulted in an unauthorized party being able to access certain individuals’ sensitive information. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Elmhurst is a real estate investment company that’s portfolio includes 40 buildings and 21 sites.

- Government issued ID numbers
- Financial account numbers
- Unique biometric data (fingerprint, retina or iris image)
- Genetic information
- Health records
- Other sensitive information
