SeoulSpice Korean Kitchen’s Chicago Expansion Continues With Wicker Park Location

Grand Opening Celebration on February 3rd - $5 Bowls, Ribbon Cutting, Limited-Edition Merch Giveaways and Prizes

SeoulSpice Korean Kitchen, DC-based fast-casual restaurant chain known for scratch-made Korean dishes, will open its third Chicago location at 1480 North Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park.

The Grand Opening Celebration will be Tuesday, February 3 and will include $5 dollar bowls all day (11AM-7PM), along with exclusive, limited-edition SeoulSpice merch giveaways [for the first 100 customers], plenty of free samples and chances to win prizes for those waiting in line.

“The opening in Wicker Park, our third location in Chicago, brings us to a neighborhood that has the best of everything we love about the city – a vibrant food and nightlife scene, family-focused residential side streets, and respect for the city’s architecture and artist-based history,” said Eric Shin, SeoulSpice’s founder and CEO.

At just over 3,000-square feet, this will be the largest SeoulSpice location to-date, seating up to 39 guests at any one time. To honor Wicker Park’s early days as an artist enclave, and with the historic Flatiron Arts building just a short walk away, SeoulSpice will feature a spectacular custom mural along with the brand’s modern design.

The Wicker Park opening will mark the company’s 11th location [8 in the Washington DC-metro area, and 3 in Chicago: 20 N. Michigan Ave (across from the Bean), 619 N. State St (River North), and 1480 N. Milwaukee Ave (Wicker Park)].

Later in this year, SeoulSpice will open at the iconic Willis Tower, continuing the chain’s national growth as it heads into its 10th year in business, with the goal of becoming the category-defining Asian fast casual brand.

SeoulSpice brings the bold flavors of Korean cuisine into a fast-casual format. With daily hours of 10:45AM to 10:00PM, Wicker Park will also offer takeout, pick-up and delivery through seoulspice.com & delivery apps and catering for all occasions.

About SeoulSpice Korean Kitchen

Founded in 2016, SeoulSpice began as an idea from Eric Shin, principal percussionist of the National Symphony Orchestra. Eric grew up in his mother’s Korean restaurant, where he fell in love with the cuisine and saw an opportunity to bring it to a fast-casual format. SeoulSpice serves fresh Korean cuisine, made from scratch with love. The menu is based on traditional family recipes, prepared and cooked by hand using house-marinated meats, fresh produce, and unique handmade sauces and toppings.
