CALGARY, ALBERTA: Infinity Asphalt, an asphalt paving and maintenance company owned and operated in Calgary, Alberta, attended the National Pavement Expo and Conference (NPE) in Tampa Bay, Florida, in January 2024. The NPE is one of the largest pavement expos in North America. This year, a variety of topics were addressed, including paving techniques, crack sealing, sealcoating, and more. The conference was hosted by Emerald.
The goal of the NPE is to provide education and networking opportunities to individuals and companies working in the paving industry. This year, there were over 3000 attendees. The expo provided morning huddles with moderators and industry leaders, 30-minute micro-learning sessions, and detailed conference programs with in-depth analysis of the state of the industry, improving pavement evaluation, new striping technology, asphalt mix design, and more.
The staff at Infinity Asphalt went to the Expo as attendees. They took a number of different educational courses, including morning huddles, Work Zone presentations, and conferences. The team also took the opportunity to interact with other attendees and speak with exhibitors.
