About the Author
Born and educated in Edinburgh, Scotland, Brian Russell began his career in music and television before moving to Los Angeles, where he became a studio singer and recording artist signed to Elton John’s Rocket Records. His songwriting credits span generations, with hits performed by icons including Chaka Khan, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Cheryl Ladd.
A prolific creative force, Russell has also produced films and television projects such as The Grace Kelly Story, Spellbinder, and From The Hip. His literary works include the children’s book The Adventures of Little Nettie Windship and the acclaimed Scottish novel Scribe. He currently resides in the Texas Hill Country with his wife, actress Cheryl Ladd of Charlie’s Angels fame, and their two daughters, Lindsay Walker and Jordan Ladd.
