BOE Attends Display Week 2025 with Its Cutting-Edge New Products, Defining the Industry’s Green Development Trends with Innovative Technology

On May 14th, BOE made a grand appearance at the Display Week 2025 as a global leading IoT innovation company, unveiling above 30 new products empowered by its three display technology brands ADS Pro, f-OLED, and α-MLED, as well as a series of cutting-edge applications in super near-field and super intelligent technologies such as light field display, 3D, microdisplay, AI, and sensing. Technological innovation, green sustainability and artificial intelligence were the three core keywords of BOE’s participation in the event. It is worth noting that at this exhibition, BOE organized a Green Ecosystem Forum, where the Chinese semiconductor display industry’s first sustainable development brand ONE (Open Next Earth) debuted abroad. Besides, a special Green and Low-Carbon Zone was established, setting a new benchmark for the sustainable development of the global display industry. In addition, the world’s first high-PPI OLED Gaming Phone Display with Under-Display Camera created by BOE has won the Display of the Year award at the Display Week. Focus on Technological Innovation, Lead the Industry in All Aspects

At this exhibition, BOE unveiled multiple industry-leading display technologies and products empowered by its three major technology brands. Upon entering the ADS Pro exhibition area, what firstly leaps to the eyes is BOE’s world-first 75-inch 4K UB Cell 4.0 TV, which can achieve an ultra-high color gamut and color accuracy with no hue change at any viewing angle. In combination with an ultra-high ambient contrast ratio of 1400:1 and an ultra-low panel reflectivity of 0.7%, the picture quality comparable to that of OLED is delivered. Meanwhile, integrating intelligent display functions such as light sensing, temperature sensing, dynamic display, radar, and camera, realizes the best possible picture quality in different scenarios.

In the f-OLED exhibition area, BOE showcased several new products based on its multi-form factor solutions. For example, BOE’s world-first OLED intelligent cockpit integrates eight types of OLED display products. Among them, the world-first 55-inch ultra-wide-angle OLED transparent sunroof is featured by an ultra-high light transmittance of 46%, seamlessly blending technology with nature. While enhancing the visual effect and sense of technology, the front connected screens and L-shaped screens provide convenience for information display and touch operation. In the meantime, the intelligent steering wheel adopts the world’s first OLED screen equipped with a large-area ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and integrates ultrasonic under-display fingerprint recognition, biometric monitoring and haptic feedback, making the driving experience safe and personalized. Besides, BOE also displayed the world’s first OLED intelligent terminal display solution equipped with TADF + Tandem + COE technology. By employing Tandem devices, this solution can still highly restore the image quality even under high-brightness ambient light, successfully breaking through the limitations of traditional display technologies in terms of color gamut, power consumption, and lifespan. With the support of TADF (Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence) technology, a BT.2020 color gamut of up to 97.5% and a peak brightness of up to 2500 nits can be achieved.

In the α-MLED exhibition area, equipped with MLED backlight technology and a 300Hz high-refresh-rate display, BOE’s 27-inch Ultra-Fast Response HDR MLED gaming displayer effectively solves the problem of motion blur in fast-moving images. In case of the motion speed of 1440 Pixel/s, the image remains clear and smooth. Additionally, with 2304 partitions of fine MLED backlighting, the monitor realizes a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a dynamic contrast ratio in the millions, delivering clear and distinct details in both bright and dark areas, providing an ultimate visual experience.

Focus on AI Empowerment: Innovative Technology Reconstructs the Future of Human-Computer Interaction

Currently, AI technology has been an important driving force for industrial upgrading. While actively embracing the tide of the digital age, BOE launched the AI+ strategy in 2024, focusing on the main fields of AI + Manufacturing, AI + Products, and AI + Operations. This strategy comprehensively empowers various application scenarios, such as AI TV, AI PC, AI mobile phones, and AI automotive applications. This algorithm realizes real-time image processing for OLED display modules at 8K 120 Hz and reduces the power consumption of OLED modules by more than 20%, achieving the optimal balance between power reduction and image quality improvement. In the office scenario, the BOE Intelligent All-in-One Machine C100 series, which participated in the exhibition for the first time, integrates AI multimodal interaction and large model technology and features seven industry-first functions such as writing acceleration and intelligent calculation, as well as 12 industry-leading functions, bringing an unprecedented interactive experience, improved productivity, and ultimate user experience. In the entertainment scenario, the 10.95-inch naked-eye 3D gaming handheld device equipped with the industry-first global soft interlacing technology provides game enthusiasts with a more immersive gaming experience and a 3D visual experience beyond imagination. In the home scenario, BOE introduced a 65-inch 4K AI TV integrated with rich AI capabilities. With a 144Hz 4K high-definition screen, it is equipped with the self-developed absolute pointing remote control technology. In combination with AI image recognition shopping, virtual AI digital humans, AI inference on-demand and other functions, it provides users with an ultimate home display experience. In addition, the AI NB introduced by BOE firstly applies an AI chip in displays. With a smart camera, microphone, and audio collection, it can realize more sensitive user detection and bystander detection.

In the aspect of AI + Manufacturing, BOE’s display industry large model deeply integrates semiconductor display knowledge and experience, providing industry-leading industrial intelligence solutions for display manufacturing scenarios, such as R&D and design, production management, manufacturing execution, and management services. Based on the integration of this large model, the AI defect management system and AI yield management system can accurately recognize and position minor defects in the production process, significantly improving production efficiency and product quality, and further enhancing overall production benefits. Besides, BOE established a Green and Low-Carbon Zone at the core of the exhibition area to showcase various leading low-power technologies and green low-carbon products, such as a 12.1-inch low-carbon tablet using Oxide display technology. Equipped with adaptive refresh rate technology, low cut-frame delay technology and dynamic display technology, this solution can intelligently determine the content displayed on the front interface and match the refresh rate to realize variable-frequency display from 5 to 144 Hz. In the meantime, it ensures flicker-free performance at low refresh rates, with a cut-frame delay of 50 ms and a power consumption reduction of about 35%. BOE’s world-first OLED display using CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) technology enhances its driving capability by 30% through optimized GOA circuits, significantly reducing display power consumption.

At this exhibition, besides showcasing the industry-leading display technologies and intelligent interactive experiences, BOE also hosted a special marketing event, implanting its continuously upgraded technologies and products into four major application scenarios office, transportation, outdoor, and medical treatment. While demonstrating BOE’s phased achievements in scenario exploration and technological innovation, it continuously strengthened deep communication with customers and further explored new areas of cooperation. For example, equipped with a dual-curved flexible product solution and using a large-sized film, BOE’s world-first smart light-shielding technology window can meet the intelligent light-adjusting needs of automotive sunroofs.
