Think Releases Series of Documentaries About American Politics

By: IssueWire

The polarization of countries and societies: Think expands its production to the United States with an investigative documentary series called "Traveling Through a Divided America".

Madrid, Spain Sep 15, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - The documentary will demonstrate direct questions to the protagonists by journalists, denouncing smoke screens and Fake News to create a polarized environment between international politics, influential lobbies, and significant economic corporations. True journalists never take sides and are impartial. In the documentary, they investigate, expose, contrast, and confront different opinions and data. In the end, Think wants the viewer to have all available information. True journalists will be objective, without filters, and simply want to provoke a reflection from the viewer. It is a tribute to authentic journalism.

The first confirmed episodes are:

"Chain of favors"

For the first few years, The Epoch Times was a small, low-budget newspaper handed out for free on New York Street corners, but in 2016 it made changes that transformed it into one of the most influential digital media outlets in the country.

As captured in an article in The New York Times, the paper's management thought that with the right Facebook strategy, it could help turn The Epoch Times into "the largest and most authoritative news outlet in the world."

Mr. Zhang Tianling, one of the ones responsible for the creation and growth of The Epoch Times, defended his ultra-conservative ideological principles and defined The New York Times as a far-left media. Mr. Zhang Tianling has described other big media such as NBC, CNN, or CBS as "the far-left media are in a deep economic and principled crisis."

Today, The Epoch Times is a force in right-wing media, with millions of social media followers spread across many pages and an online audience. Rivals include The Daily Caller and Breitbart News.

"The hand that rocks the cradle. Steve Bannon"

The figure of Steve Banon is an unknown quantity for American care but a great unknown for the rest of the world. Even so, it would be impossible to understand the polarization that the world is suffering right now without him. In the 2016 presidential election to The White House candidate Trump was 12 points behind the favorite candidate Hilary Clinton, with a simple phrase Banon marked the way to victory to the future president of the United States Donald Trump "If you return to the basic national populist ideas with which you started and which you have renounced, you will win for sure". Banon is responsible for Mr. Trump's most controversial policies and statements, for far-right populism in European countries, for fraudulent information, for the illegal theft of personal data of millions of Facebook users, for the fraud in obtaining funds for the construction of the border wall between the United States and Mexico for which he is being investigated and imprisoned.

One of Trump's last presidential orders before leaving the White House was a presidential pardon for his former right-hand man Steve Banon.

Banon, now head of the WarRoom organization and an advisor to Falun Gong members, promoted pressure groups aimed at polarizing relations between the United States and other world powers.

"Interrupted innocence"

Two hours from New York City, in the shadow of the stunning Shawangunk Mountains, lies the idyllic American town of Deerpark. A quiet and comfortable town but suddenly surprised to discover a replica of ancient Chinese temples nestled among the green North American hills, this place is called "The Mountain".

This unique place, also known as Dragon Springs, is the headquarters of the Falun Gong religious movement.

"Faith can be a solid support in times of anguish, anxiety or existential torment" where dangerous religious sects such as "The People's Tempo", "Rajnísh", "The Branch Davidians", etc., wrote chapters of the darkest recent history of the United States of America.

Like many of her followers, Anna's family was introduced to the Falun Gong when they saw a group meditating in a park. One of them gave her father a pamphlet explaining the movement's philosophy, and her mother bought some tapes and books to learn more about it.

Today, Anna, whose name has been changed to protect her identity, is trying to rebuild her life after what she considers abusive experiences in the Falun Gong spiritual movement. She will reveal for the first time the secret world she discovered in The Mountain, also known as Dragon Springs.

The polarization of the people of Deerpark is at an all-time high, both because of the irregularities reported for the location and security of the Dragon Hills facility and permitted by the local authorities and because of its influence on families like Anna's. This comes at a time when media outlets linked to the movement are becoming major players on the conservative side of the U.S. media, supporting Donald Trump's return to the U.S. presidency and his return to "far-right populist" messaging.

"#StormTheCapitol"

On January 6, one of the darkest episodes in the recent history of the United States occurred. In the days leading up to the riots, federal agencies and the Capitol Police did not issue any severe warnings that the rally could turn violent, despite countless posting on social media and right-wing sites promising clashes. Benni Thompson called it an "assault on democracy and law enforcement.

Congressman Bennie was born in 1948 in a Jim Crow state. Thompson put his passion for public service into action. In his 13th term in the United States House of Representatives, Thompson represents the Second Congressional District of Mississippi, where he spent his entire life fighting to improve the lives of all people.

Six and a half months after the riot happened, the assault on the US. Congress has once again captured the world's attention. The Special Commission of Inquiry into the tragic events during which four people died began its testimony in an emotional and politically charged atmosphere.

And more episodes to come...

It isn't easy to distinguish the truth when there are tweaks in journalism, but this documentary will give you a chance to look at both sides of the story.
