The documentary 'My Heart Returns to My Hometown' pursues the imprint of human civilization

-- The 60 minute documentary film "My Heart Returns to My Hometown" has completed its first trailer production, which tells the legendary story of navigator Illya in 2010. It is reported that the film will participate in next year's International Film Festival exhibition.

On November 19, 2010, Hiria, a French Polynesian, set sail from Tahiti, French Polynesia with five companions in a traditional canoe that did not carry any modern navigation equipment. Following the migration route of our ancestors, we sailed in the opposite direction, crossing 16000 nautical miles and lasting 124 days, and finally successfully arrived in Fujian, China. This is a journey from the other side of the Pacific to trace the roots of human civilization.

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the departure of Yilia, the latest documentary "My Heart Returns Home" has systematically released a precious image for the first time - the image was personally shot by Yilia during her voyage in 2010, providing a unique first person perspective for this legendary journey.

These images are not ordinary records, but a true confession to the ocean: they capture the arduous voyage that relies entirely on natural navigation, the ship's turbulence that can capsize at any time during typhoons, and the challenges experienced by the crew on the edge of their mental and physical limits.

This film adopts the latest AI restoration technology, and through these precious materials and the reproduction of this extraordinary and arduous journey spanning thousands of miles, tells a story that relies on traditional wisdom and firm beliefs to trace its roots. This voyage proves that human civilization's pursuit of ancestral origins and the tracing of cultural memories have never stopped due to time or geographical barriers.
