Fan-Favorite Caster Soe Gschwind-Repp Joins Upper Deck's Star-Studded Roster of Exclusive Spokespeople
Carlsbad, California--(Newsfile Corp. - May 20, 2021) - Upper Deck, the premier worldwide sports and entertainment trading card and collectibles company, announced today the company's first-ever esports spokesperson in conjunction with the global launch of Overwatch League™ Series 2 Trading Cards. Salome "Soe" Gschwind-Repp, will make her debut in the fourth esports trading card product from Upper Deck.

Soe is a well-known esports veteran who has covered over 30 video games in her career. She hosted her first BlizzCon in 2011 and has served as an interviewer, host and analyst for the Overwatch League since its inaugural season in 2018. In 2019, she won the Top Women in Media Award created by the Cynopsis Media Company and, in 2020, was awarded Top Esports Host of the Year by gameHERS.

The first-ever licensed Soe card will be available in Upper Deck Overwatch League Series 2, which wraps up the 2020 season with 36 new Star Rookies and a 150-card base set featuring key players from across all 20 teams in the league. Popular insert sets including Inked Fragments, Fragment Relics and transparent Infra-Sight cards return in Series 2, along with brand new Legendary parallels and Crosslight parallels printed on unique patterned foil.
Chase cards in Overwatch League Series 2 include dual, triple and combo autographed and patch memorabilia cards, as well as new 3rd Fragments cards that feature pieces of alternate jerseys embedded into the cards. Rare 3rd Fragments Patch Parallel cards are numbered to just 5, and brand-new autographed Bracket Ink cards are numbered to just 10. Collectors can also look for super-rare 1-of-1 Fragments Relics cards.
Overwatch League trading cards including the new Series 2 set are available now at https://upperdeckstore.com/ and in hobby stores throughout China. Starter bundles retail at $34.99 and include five Series 2 packs and an Overwatch League binder, and boxes containing 24 six-card packs are available for $94.99. To celebrate the new release, Upper Deck is offering a free binder ($19.99 value) with any Overwatch League box purchase.
In addition to Series 2, Upper Deck recently launched 2021 Overwatch League Game Dated Moments cards on Upper Deck e-Pack™ - the company's online platform that allows users to buy, open, collect and trade with fans around the world. Game Dated Moments transforms key events and milestones throughout the season into trading cards, released every Friday at 9 a.m. PT for a limited time at a cost of $5.99 per one-card pack.
