GL Homes Gives Back During the Holiday Season

Miami, Florida, United States - 01-27-2023 (PR Distribution™) -

The GL Homes team spent the 2022 holiday season giving back once again. Taking part in a few different events, they were able to help out charities throughout Florida to continue building solid relationships within the community.

A particular highlight of the holiday season was when the Riverland team in Port St. Lucie took part in a toy drive for the Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County. GL Homes served as the title sponsor, having worked with the Boys and Girls Club in the county for several years.

Many children participating in the club don’t have the opportunity to get a lot of toys during the holiday season. They exceeded expectations and brought toys from several other businesses and individuals in the community. Having a big name behind the toy drive helped surpass initial goals early on during the drive.

Another highlight event happened in Fort Myers, as a Santa and Mrs. Claus appearance at the Boys and Girls Club of Lee County. Thanks to the Boys and Girls Club Adopt-a-Club initiative, GL Homes specifically took care of the Renaissance Club. This allowed them to focus on getting each child a gift.

Unlike some of the other toy drives, this was set up so children could go shopping with their parents or guardians to pick out what they wanted.

They then had the opportunity to wrap gifts and traditionally enjoy them. It also served as quality bonding time for families struggling to find that time in 2022.

Early in December, a Holly Jolly Christmas for Tampa Kids in Need occurred at Tampa Bay's Boys and Girls Club. This gift drive launched a successful 2022 holiday season for GL Homes, as employees at Valencia del Sol and Winding Ridge did a lot of the heavy lifting.

Tampa is one of the major hubs of GL Homes, so philanthropic work often takes place around the metro area.

The company had a lot to be thankful for, wrapping up another great year. GL Homes ratings were high, with many satisfied customers in 2022, and more expansion is planned for 2023 and beyond. It easily held onto its spot as one of the top home builders in Florida.

The holiday season continues to be a very high priority for GL Homes’ philanthropy efforts. It is their busiest time of year to give back, and plenty of people within the business participate in at least a few events depending on their schedule.

To keep up with everything involved with GL Homes philanthropy, they have their website you can visit. Each event is recorded, with an archive dating back to 2015.

Working in a community and getting a chance to give back remains a massive part of what keeps the GL Homes team moving.
