Temperature and Humidity sensors are deployed in three locations where environmental monitoring is essential. The GE Aerospace ERP software communicates with the AKCP sensors via SNMPV3, collecting data every 30 minutes. The ERP then stores the temperature and humidity values for all sensors. This data is essential for regulatory compliance. The FAA may audit at any time for proof that the temperature and humidity conditions were in range when repairs were completed.
All sensors are connected with the AKCP sensorProbeX+ base unit. This sensor monitoring device is available in customizable configurations with the number of sensor ports, dry contacts, mini relays, A2D convertors you need. In the GE Aerospace installation an SPX+ with 8 sensor ports was deployed. Later an additional 8 sensor ports were required and a Basic Expansion Bus (BEB) unit was added.
