New vendors bring Venezuelan and Italian-Inspired Flavors to Woodbine Food Hall in Salt Lake City
(PRUnderground) September 22nd, 2025

Woodbine Food Hall in Salt Lake City is excited to welcome two new vendors this September, Caracas Dog and Marcato Kitchen, giving its guests even more delicious options to dig into. These new arrivals bring the popular food hall to a full lineup of ten vendors, further cementing its status as a go-to dining destination.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Caracas Dog and Marcato Kitchen to Woodbine. With their arrival, our food hall is now fully occupied, and guests can enjoy an even broader range of flavors under one roof,” said Emmily Jones, General Manager of Woodbine Food Hall and Drift Lounge.
Both officially opened in early September and are thrilled to be part of the vibrant Woodbine community. Named after the capital of Venezuela, Caracas Dog is a family-owned business dedicated to bringing bold Latin street food flavors right to Salt Lake City. Come hungry for fully-loaded Venezuelan hot dogs piled high with signature toppings, as well as mouth-watering sides like tequeños.
“We are proud to say that since opening our doors last week at Woodbine Food Hall, Caracas Dog has already brought a burst of energy and flavor to the community,” Rosette Antela, owner of Caracas Dog, said. “Introducing locals to authentic Venezuelan street food with a creative twist, our bold, loaded hot dogs and sandwiches have quickly become a crowd favorite, drawing in both curious first-timers and repeat guests who crave the unique combination of flavors not found elsewhere in the city. More than just food, Caracas Dog has added cultural richness and diversity to the hall’s lineup, creating a welcoming space where people can gather, share a meal, and experience a taste of Caracas right in the heart of Salt Lake City.”
Down the hall, Marcato Kitchen offers gourmet strombolis made from 72-hour fermented dough, as well as handcrafted pasta and indulgent tapas. Marcato Kitchen is dedicated to freshness, using only locally sourced ingredients, and works to reimagine classic flavors with inventive twists, adding excitement to every bite.
Marcato Kitchen’s Chef Kyle Williams has worked in Utah’s culinary scene since 2012, with an impressive resume that includes well-beloved spots, such as Hearth & Hill and Sushi Blue in Park City. He brings over a decade of expertise to Marcato Kitchen, now proudly serving at Woodbine Food Hall.
“Marcato Kitchen started at Square Kitchen incubator in November 2023, and during that time, we had been developing systems and recipes and teaching our community about Strombolis. Having the opportunity at Woodbine Food Hall to further expand on our customer base is pivotal to our growth as an Italian/American fast casual concept, and we are super excited and grateful to have this opportunity,” said Williams.
Come experience these new vendors for yourself at Woodbine Food Hall, open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
