Taimingu OÜ, the owner company of brand Remote Index, has made an investment into new premium domain. The company is based in Estonia, but all employees and contractors work remotely. It is focused mostly on development of web based software: SaaS, aggregators and catalogs.
Taimingu OÜ mission:
– helping professionals to find remote work
– helping companies and recruiters to find the right people for remote positions
– enabling companies to work remotely using software and data
As a result of the current pandemic situation, the need for remote work has grown significantly. Because of that, all services supporting the trend are growing rapidly as well. As a company, Taimingu OÜ wants to increase investment in this space and positively impact more people through its services.
A premium domain, remoteindex.com has been acquired for Remote Index, one of the top remote work aggregators and job board. Until now the company has secured remoteindex.co (main domain) and remoteidx.com. A new domain has been acquired through negotiations for an undisclosed amount. The ownership transfer has been finalized early November 2021.
Purchase of .com domain has secured a company position and strengthened the brand. There is no plan to use the domain directly, besides the redirect to the main domain: remoteindex.co. Taimingu OÜ doesn’t have currently any further plans to purchase more domains.
Remote Index is aggregating currently thousands of active remote positions from around the world. Majority of positions are open for IT professionals like frontend developers, backend developers and cloud specialists. Competition for remote jobs is high, but in many cases positions have geographical restriction (like US only or CET+-3), which make it easier for candidates to land a job. Remote Index helps candidates to identify those positions through advanced search and personalized email alerts.
