DataDirect Networks Extends License for Cryptsoft Security SDKs

By: PRLog

BRISBANE, Australia - Feb. 10, 2022 - PRLog -- Cryptsoft continues to enhance its reputation as the global supplier of choice for Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) technologies by licensing their KMIP Client technology to DataDirect Networks, Inc. (DDN) for all of their enterprise products.

DDN, the global leader in storage systems for unstructured and big data, including AI, Analytics and high-performance computing, has signed an Enterprise License for Cryptsoft's KMIP Client technology. The Enterprise License covers all current and future products from the DDN and Tintri divisions, including the Nexenta and Intelliflash (Tegile) brands.

"Today's most innovate organizations have recognized the increased value of their data, especially associated AI and Analytics applications, which has driven demand across markets for DDN solutions," said Bret Weber, Executive Vice President, Global Engineering Operations at DDN. "Data security is an essential element of managing this data and we have worked successfully with Cryptsoft since we first licensed their KMIP Client in 2019, so it made a lot of sense to upgrade to an Enterprise license to ensure coverage for all of our current and future products."

"A customer signing licenses for additional products is always a sign to the rest of the market that you are selling a quality product that can be trusted," said Justin Corlett, Cryptsoft Business Development Manager. "But, a customer signing an Enterprise License sends an entirely different message to the market. This message changes the question from, 'Why would you license KMIP technology from Cryptsoft for your projects,' to 'Why wouldn't you license KMIP technology from Cryptsoft for all of your projects? It is a subtle, but powerful message.'"
