In a recent video on his Instagram that received wide acclaim from his followers, entrepreneur Justin Secreti shared with his followers his secret to lead generation. He says, “The problem with most people is, they start businesses, and they’re relying on one source of lead generation.” He explains that a business needs at least five sources of lead generation to reliably reach sustainability. Relying on a single source such as Facebook leads to people commenting and calling the companies a scam. “They’re either jealous of what you’re doing, or they’ve already got ripped off by someone who’s doing the same thing that you are.”
Secreti recommends investing in multiple social media apps for advertisements such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok but also in outbound cold calling and in affiliate programs. He has started five successful companies in the last 24 months and is considered uniquely qualified to teach other people how to escape the 9-5 rat race.
He regularly gives financial advice to his 131k followers on Instagram (@s3creti). Aside from posts, he puts up stories with different financial lessons. In one video, he gives advice on how to get funding saying, “You gotta have credit, you gotta have collateral, and you gotta have cash flow.” In another video, he explains business credit in great detail and points out several common misconceptions that keep people from getting appropriate funding to grow their businesses.
In an interview about his fifth business, Secreti said, “I don’t think I’ll ever give up my entrepreneurship to settle for my own brand. I love building new brands and finding ways to finance startups, and I love this initial stage too much.” This suggests his reasoning behind launching his Amazon FBA automation company called Project Automation. In one recent interview, he said, “The lucrative profits being made in the market are attractive for many, but most people find it difficult to find their way in Amazon FBA. Project Automation allows people to invest their assets and enter Amazon FBA as a business without having to fear any losses due to lack of experience; it’s really simple.”
Secreti uses his skills in retail and his experience in the industry to determine which products will be high in demand in the future. He buys those products and uses his marketing skills to post the products on Amazon. In one story on Instagram, he shows one of his products getting a 457% increase in sales compared to the previous year.
