Oteko Group Russia will be granting its organizational support to the citizens of the Taman Region, who have decided to participate in the annual event by cleaning up two bodies of water in the vicinity of the village of Veselovka. The volunteers will be heading from the village of Volna towards the coast between the Black Sea and the Salt Sea to clean it of both natural garbage and man-made waste.
The “Water of Russia” all-Russian movement is an annual event that started in 2014 and has since attracted the attention of private citizens, public administrations and corporate entities alike.
The “Water of Russia” initiative has been gaining momentum ever since its inception and has been expanding its geography of operation over the years. Administrative authorities and corporate entities have highly praised the initiative’s aim of fostering a positive attitude towards the environment on the part of the younger generation and its favorable impact on local ecosystems. To date, the initiative has brought together over 7 million people across 85 regions of the Russian Federation. In total, the volunteers of the movement have helped clean over 638,000 cubic meters of waste.
