Author and Motivational Speaker Niki Spears to Launch New Book "The Culture Cre8or" for Educators in AugustNiki Spears is a speaker, author, and coach who has helped transform schools’ and organizations’ culture nationwide. As a former principal, Niki observed that a positive culture was crucial to the organization’s successAs a former teacher and school principal, Niki Spears brings insight and expertise to educators in her new book, “The Culture Cre8or,” set to launch on August 8, 2022.

July 25, 2022 - Austin, TX, USA - In July 2016, Niki Spears left her job as a school principal to pursue her dream of helping schools and organizations create and sustain positive culture. Her passion for culture is driven by the desire to help others become aware of how they are showing up at work and how their behavior impacts others. As a young child who struggled with negative thinking, Spears found purpose in assisting others to live inspired lives by focusing on the good things happening around them. Niki now travels the country, helping school leaders, educators and students embrace a healthy, vibrant, and inspirational mindset through her motivational books and events. Her new book, “The Culture Cre8or,” set to launch on August 8, 2022, is her latest contribution to help leaders and educators across the globe be their person best and is currently available for pre-sale on Amazon and Barnes & Nobles.

Spears says, “I write books on self-improvement because I understand the way to improve the overall culture of any team is to first improve your personal culture. Growing up in a family that lacked an understanding of setting proper boundaries and having courageous conversations, I witnessed firsthand how these one person’s behavior and attitude impacted the entire family; the same is true for organizations. I want readers to understand that in order to be a successful leader of any organization, you must first lead yourself. There will always be people and events that challenge your self-worth, which can make you doubt who you are.” Spears emphasizes that great leaders understand the power of taking 100% responsibility; are self-awareness, and open to differences in people and opinions.  “I hope that after reading the book, the reader is more mindful of their own leadership style, both the strengths as well as the opportunities,” says Spears. Spears uses a fictitious character, Matthew Mason, to create events in “The Culture Cre8or” that most leaders can connect to, which allows them to assess their own leadership as they follow Matthew on a journey to transforming school culture. The story will enable readers to become more engaged in their own families and work communities while learning valuable leadership strategies.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Matthew has been tasked as the next principal of a school on the brink of closure. Low performance and a toxic culture threaten to close the doors to Mercy Elementary School for good. Matthew knows his leadership abilities and passion for students and teachers could be the school’s saving grace, but it will not come easily. He faces challenge after challenge while trying not to let his community down. Who would think, with so much at stake, that Matthew would find his largest inspiration in the unlikeliest places? Niki Spears returns in this follow-up book to “The Beauty Underneath the Struggle” with a powerful message of shaping culture, community, and life for the better from the inside out.
