Boxers are looking up to Jean-Pierre Augustin, the former Pan American Games qualifier, as a role model

Jean-Pierre Augustin is a heavyweight who has power in both of his hands. He holds the WBO and IBF North American heavyweight titles. Augustin had gone unbeaten over 18 fights with one draw while holding the WBO and IBF titles for the North American region before taking his first loss in 2019.

California – August 15th, 2022 – A professional boxer from Haiti named Jean-Pierre Augustin “Kid Creole” has a record of 17 wins, 1 defeat, and 1 draw. Haiti’s Les Cayes is where Augustin was born. After being born, he relocated to Boston, where he began boxing at age 12 and competed for the first time at age 14. His childhood idols were Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, and Muhammad Ali.

Jean-Pierre Augustin, who won the Pan American Games Qualifiers in 2011, said, ” Since there was no longer headgear and rounds were three minutes long instead of two, there were undoubtedly a lot of emotions running through my thoughts before and throughout the battle. I thought I fought well, but since there’s always the potential for growth, I’m going to watch the movie together with my team, to improve for the next time”. 

“It was a terrific experience to get my first bout out of the way.” he continued.

Jean-Pierre Augustin, “Kid Creole,” has made several appearances in full-length movies. Some of the movies Augustin has under his belt are Heart, Baby, Bleed for This, which was released in 2016, followed by Vault, which was released in 2019.
