Green Satoshi Token GST Use Cases & 2022 STEPN App Game Modes | Report Launched

The roadmap for the development of Green Satoshi Tokens (GST), their use cases, and the STEPN app used to generate them, are explored in this new report from Chiliz News.

Frisco,United States - September 13, 2022 /PressCable/

Though physical fitness-based blockchain applications have been rising in popularity since 2021, the STEPN app has remained near the top of the pack with its unique ecosystem, upgrades, and in-game currency. The latest report published by Chiliz News examines how Green Satoshi Tokens (GST) are generated in-game and lists several ways players can use them.

While most of the new fitness-based walking and running apps on the market are fairly similar, the new report explains that STEPN takes a different approach. It examines three different game modes that can generate GST and several ways the tokens can be used to upgrade a player’s in-game abilities or be taken out of the game and used to create change in the real world.

To start using the STEPN app, users have to activate a pair of NFT sneakers, which determine the upgrades and abilities for their in-game activities. While many similar apps use NFT sneakers, STEPN allows players to upgrade their NFTs in several ways, using the GST they earn in-game.

The report breaks down three separate ways players can improve their abilities with GST. The first two methods involve burning GST to gain new attribute points or NFT gems. These points and gems can be added to existing NFT sneakers to improve their in-game effectiveness. The third method mentioned in the report involves minting an entirely new NFT sneaker box by combining two existing sneakers.

Chiliz News highlights that STEPN is one of the first applications to allow players to offset the emissions created by blockchain technology through the purchase of Carbon Removal Credits. These credits allow players to donate to programs that remove CO2 from the air or prevent future emissions by funding projects such as tree planting, renewable energy, or carbon capture.

Players can also find information about how GST can be exchanged for other cryptocurrencies using a swap feature. While the developers charge a small fee for these transactions, most GST is earned by players; a portion of each transaction fee is used for the purchase of Carbon Removal Credits.
