OBDGO G1 Car Coding Adapter Launched on Kickstarter

Device allows users to collect data from their cars and code them to customize their vehicles

OBDGO G1, a plug-and-play multifunctional car scanner and coder, has been launched today on Kickstarter, at <https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/116722743/obdgo-g1-one-tap-unlock-hidden-features-and-code-your-car?ref=9bhlgy>. The device can be seamlessly connected to the user’s car, retrieving critical data about its condition.

Making efficient and targeted maintenance of vehicles easily accessible to any user. “Operating the app’s one-tap user-friendly interface, users can instantly know how their car is doing, so they don’t need to rely on a mechanic for a diagnosis. Instead, they can conveniently keep tabs on the state of their car, and, if there’s something wrong, they can tell the mechanic which type of repair they are looking for,” said Michael, creator of the OBDGO G1 campaign.

OBDGO G1 runs an OBD-II Diagnosis process can read and clear trouble codes, generate, print, and share Diagnosis Reports, conduct a Smog Readiness Check, collect Freeze Frame Data, have access to multiple interactive data streams, reflecting the respective graphics on the app, connect with the device and the car via wireless Bluetooth connection, and switch between US-based Imperial Settings or the European Metrics System, along with other features. “These functionalities are widely compatible with dozens of car brands models, which is extremely important,” Mr.Brown added.

The other side of the OBDGO G1 unique selling proposition is expected to entice car modders and car enthusiasts about the possibility of customizing certain features of their vehicles. This device and its app allow the user to unlock and activate hidden features that car makers and sellers don’t advertise, but which are available to users if they are activated.

“For now, this is available for Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Ford, and Audi cars, but we’re working to add more brands,” Michael detailed. OBDGO G1 can be used to set the rearview mirrors to auto fold when the car is locked, automatically record the auto start-stop before the flameout, deactivate US side markers, remotely control car windows, and enable a digital speedometer, among other features.

OBDGO G1 can work with almost all recent iOS phones, iPads, Mac computers, and/or Android phones or tablets.
