Fort Myers, United States - February 27, 2023 /PressCable/

Clients that qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) can now also apply for unlimited talk and text phone services through Comlink Total Solutions’ updated unlimited internet service program.

Comlink Total Solutions has updated its ACP-related programs to provide no-cost or affordable access to unlimited internet service, an internet-connected tablet, and unlimited mobile service, for struggling households across the USA. The program is open to any household that qualifies for the federal ACP, and a full list of eligibility guidelines can be found on the company’s website.

The ACP was launched by the FCC as a permanent replacement for the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) which ended in December 2021. The program allows struggling households to access reliable internet with no data limits, either at a reduced cost, or no cost at all, by providing a reduction of up to $30 per eligible household, per month, or up to $75 per household on eligible tribal lands.

The new tablet program is based on information from the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), which found that 98% of EBB and ACP applications stated a preference for tablets over desktop or laptop computers. Comlink allows anyone that qualifies for the ACP to apply for a tablet at a reduced cost, with a limit of one tablet per household.

Households that do not qualify for the tablet program may still be eligible for a SIM card connected to the T-mobile network. These SIM cards are available at no cost and include unlimited calling and text messages, as well as 10 GB of mobile data, which is replenished every 30 days at no cost.

Comlink Total Solutions uses existing 4g and LTE networks to provide wireless data to rural clients across the USA, without having to install additional infrastructure. By providing unlimited internet plans at a similar rate to the cost reductions offered by the ACP, they help eligible households to gain reliable internet access, at no cost to themselves.

To qualify for the ACP, a household must have income of 200% or less of the Federal Poverty Guidelines standard, or qualify for one of several other government assistance programs.
