AUSTIN, Texas - Sept. 26, 2023 - PRLog -- Texas Advocacy Project (TAP), a leading statewide nonprofit dedicated for 41 years to serving survivors of domestic violence in addition to sexual assault, stalking, child abuse, and human trafficking, announces the release of its 2022 annual report and the availability of its subject matter experts as a valuable resource during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Heather Bellino, TAP's Chief Executive Officer, emphasized the incredible dedication of TAP's team, stating, "All staff play a pivotal role in serving over 10,000 survivors - our clients and their families. Drilling it down, in 2022, each staff attorney, on average, helped 650 people to live a life free from abuse. These numbers underscore our unwavering commitment to supporting survivors and providing them with the protection and resources they need to break free from the cycle of violence."

As October marks Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Texas Advocacy Project stands ready to share its expertise and experience with the media, offering subject matter experts who can shed light on the critical issues surrounding domestic violence, legal rights, and available resources.

In addition, TAP invites media members to join the cause by learning more about its upcoming Black & White Ball Presented by Accenture, a crucial fundraising event that directly supports their mission. The funds raised during this event, which is scheduled for October 28th this year, are essential for TAP's ongoing efforts to empower survivors and protect those who are most vulnerable.
