LGBTQ Healthcare Alliance Advocates for Equity and Debt Relief in Scheduled Meeting with Federal Officials

The Alliance seeks to promote progress in hate crime accountability and national debt relief through engaging discussions with key government figures.

The LGBTQ Healthcare Alliance has formally requested a meeting with the White House and key federal officials. The Alliance, in collaboration with Social Justice WA.org, seeks to discuss important issues with Vice President Kamala Harris, WH Economic Advisors, Dr. Sandra Ford, Melanie Fontes Rainer, Douglas Parker of the Department of Justice (DOJ), and Xavier Becerra. The key point of discussion centers around a joint initiative with the FBI's Hate Crime unit in order to make substantial strides in the 'Defund Hate Accountability Program', aiming to alleviate the current national debt crisis.

Dr. Sandy Montano, the acting director of the Alliance, stated: "We have approached the office staff for a meeting because we believe in the creative potential of our society, capable of generating practical and actionable ideas. These ideas, centered around safeguarding the public and promoting progress, can help us simultaneously address hate crimes and provide relief to our national debt, while promoting equality."

James Bochelli, a representative from Social Justice Washington and LGBTQ Healthcare Alliance.org, added: "We appreciate the support we have received. However, we must not overlook the existing enforcement mechanisms that are costing taxpayers while not adequately addressing federal violations. These mechanisms, if properly utilized, can contribute to national debt relief and help us move towards a more accountable and progressive society. We need to adhere to the constitutionally based federal guidelines that bind us as a nation and were put in place for the purpose of ensuring public safety. The need for this assurance of safety is more crucial now than ever, and this must be achieved without jeopardizing public safety."

For those wishing to support the cause, contributions can be made through their website, LGBTQHA.org. For more information, you can reach them at (202) 630-6172 or via email at info@lgbtqha.org
