New York - March 13th, 2025 - With over 30 years of experience in disability advocacy and public speaking, and 20 years in personal development, Amb. Shana is a dedicated advocate, educator, and coach. Specializing in developmental disabilities, social skills training, independent living, and transitioning skills. She has worked as a Disability Advocate, Consultant, and Trainer in both individual and group settings.

Her expertise extends to diverse areas, including gender identity support, employment coaching, trauma-informed care, and media relations. Amb. Shana recently received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe Biden and was nominated by the CEO of Chichimovies Inc., Dr. Edna Frenchwood, to sit as one of the Ambassadors to the United Nations through a program by Prezens for Charity.

Amb. Shana holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling focusing on Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, along with certifications as a Certified Autism Specialist, Licensed Life Coach, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy Facilitator. She is also a member of the Autism Society of America and the American Counseling Association.

As a published author and dynamic public speaker, Amb. Shana has delivered keynote addresses at national conferences and events, promoting awareness on autism, learning disabilities, and neurodiversity. Their leadership in community relations and program development has empowered individuals and families to achieve independence and thrive. In addition to advocacy, they bring creative expertise as a certified media and high-fashion makeup artist, blending their counseling and artistic skills to support self-expression and confidence.

Recognized for her exceptional expertise, she has been invited to speak at the United Nations CSW69 event, focusing on digital inclusion for girls and women. Her extensive training has established her as a credible voice on this critical issue.
