Bryant & Stratton College officially opened its newly relocated Richmond - Chesterfield Campus today with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event. The new campus is designed to expand access to career-focused education and help address the growing demand for healthcare workers across Central Virginia.
The new 53,000-square-foot facility, located at 101 Gateway Centre Parkway, Suite 210, will accommodate hundreds of future healthcare professionals and is expected to produce a robust pipeline of graduates annually in high-demand fields, including nursing and medical assisting.
The opening comes as healthcare providers across the region face ongoing workforce shortages. By establishing proximity to major clinical partners, including HCA Healthcare and Bon Secours Hospital, the college aims to strengthen pathways from classroom training to careers within local health systems.
To support this transition to the workforce, students will train in upgraded spaces that mirror real-world clinical environments, including a dedicated medical assisting lab and five advanced nursing simulation rooms. This expanded training capacity is expected to significantly boost the number of healthcare students the college can serve each year.
“For over three decades, Bryant & Stratton College has been a proud partner in our region’s higher education landscape and a dedicated champion of students,” said Beth Murphy, Market Director at Bryant & Stratton College. “We’re proud to continue our investment in Chesterfield with the opening of the new Richmond - Chesterfield Campus.”
The relocation follows more than 30 years at the college’s former Hull Street location and represents a significant, long-term commitment to Chesterfield County. The new site is built with working adult and commuter students in mind, offering improved access via the GRTC bus line, proximity to major roadways, and consolidated student services under one roof.
In addition to healthcare programs, the campus will continue to serve students pursuing degrees in business, technology, and human services, maintaining a focus on flexible scheduling and career readiness for adult learners.
The campus is fully operational and will welcome students for the upcoming academic term beginning May 6, 2026.
