Freelance Translator Marc Batko Praises Issuu.com for its Powerful Open-Access Platform for Knowledge and Enlightenment

By: Get News
Batko has personally uploaded thousands of publications and articles at Issuu.com, which are all available now for free

Freelance translator Marc Batko has made it his life’s mission to make knowledge more accessible than ever. Most recently, he praised the online platform Issuu.com for its open-access library of user-uploaded publications and articles that are free to access instantly when users subscribe or click on the website.

According to Batko, Issuu.com could be “the people’s publisher”. Anyone can go to the platform’s website to browse and read through tens of thousands of titles spanning categories including arts and entertainment, business, education, science, society, tech, religion and spirituality, family and parenting, health and fitness, and more.

Issuu.com was founded in in 2006 and today features offices around the world in areas including Copenhagen, Denmark; Palo Alto, California; and Berlin, Germany. The website brings in more than 100 million unique visitors per month and features more than 50 million total documents.

“The more you read, the larger your world,” said Batko, who sees Issuu.com as an outstanding platform for anyone who is tired of conforming with materialistic society to get the answers they want. “Resist conventional or trickle-down economic nonsense,” said Batko. “Help build a society based on the common good and human rights, not profit-maximization and money-out-of-nothing.”

To date, Batko has uploaded 2,160 written works to the Issuu.com platform. He has released an article outlining his 234 best publications, and this list includes must-read titles such as ‘The Journal of Population and Sustainability’, ‘The Historical Development of Dystopian Literature’, ‘Political Theory as a Vocation’, ‘The Second Bill of Rights’, and ‘George Orwell and the Politics of Truth’.
