The restaurant is managed by Jason Carron, who has decades of experience in the industry, having worked with big names like Fleming’s and Del Frisco’s. Since Post 1917 was opened in May this year, the restaurant has been a great success and has been featured in articles by Boston Magazine and Northshore Magazine.
“Every ingredient is well thought out to innovate the plate with not only something aesthetically pleasing, but more importantly delicious. Jason's farm-to-table approach ensures the highest level of ingredients go into every meal you enjoy,” a spokesperson for the restaurant said.
As explained by Green Matters, farm-to-table represents a symbiotic relationship between farmers and chefs and is focused on local produce. It has become more popular in recent decades among consumers who want to feel more connected to the food chain.
For meat-eaters, farm-to-table means supporting farms that raise animals under more natural conditions. Local, fresh produce is typically more full of the flavor of nutrition, with studies revealing that fruit and vegetables lose 30% of the nutritional value within three days of harvest.
On Post 1917’s steak menu, guests can choose from a selection of premium cuts, ranging from a 10 oz filet to a 32 oz long bone steak. It’s possible to add on enhancements like roasted marrow butter, blue cheese butter, and Kona crust.
"We recently had the pleasure of dining at Post 1917, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The steak was perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and the ambiance was elegant and welcoming," a guest shared in their review.
In addition to steak, Post 1917 has a big selection of fresh seafood, Italian-inspired mains like risotto with pan-seared scallops, and lighter options like shareables, salads, and soups.
