Royal Holiday Vacation Club Offers San Francisco Travel Tips

Mexico City , Mexico - 08-16-2022 (PR Distribution™) -

The key to having a memorable vacation lies in proper planning. It takes months to plan out a great vacation, especially if the vacation is in a place you've never been to before.

You have to research as much as possible about all the attractions in your preferred destination and look at street names and addresses to ensure you won't get lost when you get there.

Saving up for the vacation is also important because you do not want to run out of cash before your vacation is over. With the Royal Holiday Vacation Club, you do not have to worry about any of these issues because a Royal Holiday Membership gives you access to planned vacations in the world's best destinations.

The 7-Day San Francisco Tour Guide

San Francisco has a lot of tourist attractions, so you will need at least a week to experience what San Francisco has to offer fully.

Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge

The icon of San Francisco is the 2,737-meter-long Golden Gate Bridge. You have to cross the bridge to get to the city of San Francisco. For the best experience, consider crossing the bridge on foot.

However, you can also choose to ride a bicycle across it. You'll experience the breathtaking city vistas while crossing the bridge. Stop by the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center for some great souvenirs.

Alcatraz Prison Island

Many popular holiday films were shot on Alcatraz Island. The island hosts a federal prison home to the most notorious criminals, the most notable being Al Capone. The prison was closed in 1963, but the facility is still intact.

Visitors can listen to audio guides as they walk around the prison island. You'll have to take a ferry at Fisherman's Wharf to get to Alcatraz. Make sure you visit the dining hall, prison cells, solitary confinement, guard towers, and other places in the facility.

Tramway Museum and the Streetcars

San Francisco has many icons, the streetcars being one of the most popular. These locomotives have been helping residents move along the huge long avenues since the 19th century.

These streetcars are considered historical landmarks by themselves. Be sure to visit the Tramway Museum to learn more about the streetcars. You must also ride on them before leaving the city to get the full San Francisco experience.

Get Lost in Chinatown

At the intersection of Bush Street and Grant Avenue stands the majestic Dragon's gate. This is a beautiful spot to have your photo taken. You'll come across Chinese restaurants, shops, and temples across 24 blocks on Grant Avenue. If you want to experience Chinese culture without traveling to China, this is the place to be.

If you book with Royal Holiday Vacation Club, you can stay at a hotel or resort that is just minutes from Chinatown and other iconic San Francisco locations.

Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39

Your trip to San Francisco is not complete without a visit to Pier 39 and the Fisherman's Wharf. There is a magnificent aquarium nearby, some fantastic restaurants, and Ripley's Believe it or Not. Be sure to visit all these attractions to get the most out of your trip.

During your 7-day stay, you'll sleep at Royal Holiday Vacation Club's Powell Place at Nob Hill. Other places to visit include, the San Francisco Giants stadium and Union Square.
