Introduction: How Farmers Play and Earn in Plato Farm

People seem to be inherently passionate about farming. All kinds of Client Games and Mobile Games on farming nowadays, farming game has even evolved to a new genre combing farming with survival or adventure. From decades to decades, different player groups come and go, but the love for farming game never fades.

Today we would like to introduce a farming game called the Plato Farm. Players of this game mostly just need to repeat the simple action of planting, harvesting and trading. Neither fast APM (Actions Per Minute) needed in action games nor aiming ability needed in FPS game is required. Players can acquire a great sense of achievement only by minimal effects. Let’s take a tour next to the farming world of the Plato Farm.

  1. Crop

The farming world of the Plato Farm is consisted of two parts: one is crop and the other is sapling. We will start with the crop, which is the most basic element in the game.

Take wheat as an example. Players will start by purchasing land and wheat seed. Plant the seed on the ground and harvest when they ripen.

Player can reprocess the harvested wheat (say use the wheat to make bread in bakery) or follow the trading rule in the game to sell the wheat and get MARK, then continue to buy more seeds.

There are totally 13 types of crops in the farm. Players can unlock seed as they level up. Below is a summary of the corps and its corresponding level to unlock, ripe time and experience points.

13 Types of Crops

Though there are only a small number of crops, the developer has put in quite an effect in animations. Each crop has four forms. Take cotton seed as an example:

Animation 1: Just planted

Animation 2: Half of the growing time passed

Animation 3: Ripe

Animation 4: Ready for harvest

As mentioned above, these crops in farm are raw materials for the reprocess plant. It is suggested that new players can purchase basic corps such as wheat, cucumber, carrot, corn and sugar cane, as these crops are in high demand in plant.

  1. Sapling

When players reach Lv.15 or above, they unlock more advanced game: planting sapling. Take apple tree as an example, players need to purchase orchard land and seed of apple tree. Plant the seed on the orchard land and wait for it to ripen.

Just planted

Orchard blooms

Bear fruits

Wither

Planting one orchard can harvest for three times. After the third time, the orchard tree will wither, and players need to use props to remove the tree or put up a help sign to ask your friends to “save” the orchard tree (only for one time). The restored orchard can be harvested for three more times. Furthermore, you can gain experience points by helping your friends to restore orchard tree!

Likewise, below is a summary of its corresponding levels to unlock different orchard tree, ripe time and experience points:

  1. Farm Expansion

Besides, players need to have land in the farm to grow crops. When the farm area is not enough, players need to expand the farmland, for example, by cutting down small tree or tree stump with hatchet, sawing down big tree with dragsaw. Details are as below:

Notes: all data mentioned above is from official developer or game itself. Due to the game is still in open beta stage, some date may be subjected to modification. Please refer to relevant information given by the official developer.

We have come to the end of the tour to the Plato Farm. It is a nice farming game for relaxation. Get your friends to enjoy farming time together in this holiday season.
