MOOSE JAW, SK, April 29, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Statement of Claim was filed on April 15, 2026 in the Court of King's Bench for Saskatchewan and alleges that the Defendants Carla Beck and Jared Clarke made and repeated public statements that were false and defamatory, and that those statements caused harm to Dr. Goodenowe's personal and professional reputation and to the business and reputation of Lakeview Regional Wellness Centre Inc. and the Dr. Goodenowe Restorative Health Centre in Moose Jaw SK.
The action relates to statements alleged to have been made in public remarks, media interactions, social media posts, and related publications. The Plaintiffs seek damages and other relief as set out in the Statement of Claim.
Dr. Goodenowe previously notified the defendants of the alleged false and defamatory statements via letters on March 4th and 9th, 2026, and demanded that they retract their statements. The defendants have not removed any of the statements from their public platforms.
Regarding the lawsuit, Dr. Goodenowe stated:
"Public statements made about me by Jared Clarke and Carla Beck are demonstrably false. They have and continue to cause me serious and unjust harm. I have publicly set the record straight and I have formally notified the defendants and requested that they correct their statements, which they have not done. I have no other option but to formally address these wrongs through the appropriate legal process, and that is why I am taking this matter to Court."
Dr. Goodenowe also spoke passionately about the community health mission he has devoted himself to in Moose Jaw:
"My work in Moose Jaw is focused on something I have believed in for a long time: people who are educated on restorative and optimal health protocols, who are empowered to seek and achieve optimal health, and who have access to shared infrastructure to organize and act on their knowledge, can achieve community-wide improvements in health and vitality. Through the Moose Jaw Vitality Project, we are building community infrastructure that will give every resident of this city access to advanced health education, restorative health technologies, and health monitoring technologies at no cost. That work matters to me, and it matters to the people it serves. Advanced health technologies that are readily available in the Unites States and other countries should not be available only to those Saskatchewan residents who can afford to fly out of the province to access them."
