BTIG announced today several key hires to enhance the firm’s Structured Product business within BTIG’s Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities division. Christopher Heaney and Jamarr Delauney have joined BTIG as Managing Directors, and David Cantor has joined the firm as a Director.
In their new roles at BTIG, they will report to Alejandro Feely, Managing Director and Head of Structured Products. “We welcome Christopher, Jamarr and David to the team and know they will help us expand BTIG’s footprint in the Structured Product space,” said Mr. Feely.

Mr. Heaney has deep industry experience. Prior to BTIG, he was a Managing Director within Fixed Income at Keybanc Capital Markets. Previously, Mr. Heaney was a Managing Director within Fixed Income at Amherst Securities and held a similar role at Jefferies. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Managing Director within Fixed Income at Bear, Stearns & Company.
Mr. Delauney’s career spans over two decades. Before joining BTIG, he was a Managing Director within Loan and Structured Products Trading at Cross Point Capital. Previously, Mr. Delauney was a Senior Managing Director within Securitized Products at Helios Strategic Advisors and was an Executive Director within Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities Trading at UBS. Earlier in his career, he was a Vice President within Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities Trading at Credit Suisse.
Mr. Cantor also brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the firm. Prior to BTIG, he was a Director of Fixed Income Capital Markets within Institutional Sales and Trading at Janney Montgomery Scott. Previously, Mr. Cantor was Director of Sales within the Institutional Group at Performance Trust. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Securitized Products Sales at Credit Suisse, where he spent 14 years.
