Leading authority in surety joins Alliant Construction

Alliant Insurance Services has announced Scott Brackenbury has joined the company as a Senior Vice President, Regional Director of Surety. In his new role, Brackenbury will oversee the surety operations for the New York and New Jersey region and will assist with growth and sustainability of the premier construction broker in the nation.

The leaders of Alliant Specialty, Michael Cusack and Richard Ferrucci, are excited to have Brackenbury join the firm. “Scott’s deep connections and respect across the industry make him a significant asset for our existing and prospective clients,” said Ferrucci, Vice Chairman of Alliant Retail Property & Casualty. “His extensive industry knowledge and relationships cultivated over decades will help support the bonding needs of all our contractor partners.”

Prior to joining Alliant, Brackenbury served as the Regional Contract Surety Manager for Liberty Mutual Surety (LMS), where he built and managed the largest of the LMS field operations. In total, he spent over 30 years working with the Safeco/Liberty Mutual organization.

Brackenbury holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Rutgers University. He also holds an Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB^®) designation and has been active in his local chapters of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the Construction Industry Council (CIC), the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP) and the General Contractors Association (GCA).
