BTIG announced today that Thomas L. di Galoma has joined as Managing Director & Co-Head of Global Rates Trading. Mr. di Galoma will expand BTIG’s global rates capabilities for the firm’s corporate and institutional clients working closely with veteran BTIG Co-Head of Global Rates Trading, Andrew McSweeney.

Mr. di Galoma brings over 25 years of professional experience trading in US Government and European bond markets to the firm. Most recently, he was at Seaport Global Holdings where he oversaw G-10 rates trading and strategy. Prior to Seaport Global, he was a Senior Managing Director and Head of Rates Trading at ED&F Man Capital Markets where he managed all sales, trading, and research. Additionally, he was Head of Rates Trading at Guggenheim, and Global Head of U.S. Government Bond Trading at Jefferies & Co. Mr. di Galoma has also held senior roles at Merrill Lynch and Salomon Smith Barney.
